In addition to company data, Dumaco Europe B.V. also processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example, by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence, and/or by telephone.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

Dumaco Europe B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To send our newsletter and/or other marketing communications
  • To be able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products. This also includes new features in the Dumaco Portal
  • To offer you the opportunity to create an account for the Dumaco Portal

  • Dumaco Europe B.V. and its subsidiaries and branches also process personal data if we are legally obligated to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.


Automated decision-making

Dumaco Europe B.V. does not make automated decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (for example, an employee of Dumaco Europe B.V.).

How long we retain personal data

We use your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this statement. This includes commercial matters, such as sending email newsletters or other marketing campaigns, information about changes to our services and products, including new features in the Dumaco Portal, and creating an account/login for the Dumaco Portal. You can also request to have your data deleted at any time. We process personal data based on several legal bases and apply the following retention periods:

  • Purchase of products/services through Dumaco Europe B.V., its subsidiaries, or branches, including telephone or email contact, delivery of goods or services, or payment processing: Contractual or legal obligation: 7 years
  • Purchase of products/services from the Dumaco Portal through Dumaco Europe B.V., including telephone or email contact, delivery of goods or services, or payment processing: Contractual or legal obligation: 10 years (e-Commerce)


Sharing personal data with third parties

Dumaco Europe B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We have a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Dumaco Europe B.V. remains responsible for these processing operations.

Dumaco Europe B.V. uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. On your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and requested your consent to place them. You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Dumaco Europe B.V., and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to avg@dumaco.com.

Before we can comply with your request, we are legally required to identify you if this proves necessary. Dumaco Europe B.V. would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

How we protect personal data

Dumaco Europe B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or email avg@dumaco.com.

Did you find a data breach?

You can report a data breach to us by calling us or emailing avg@dumaco.com. Dumaco complies with the Data Breach Notification Act. This means that we report a serious data breach of personal data to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours of discovering the breach. You can also contact us with questions or for more information about the collection and use of your personal data.
