As an existing customer, how do I contact Dumaco?
Are you already a Dumaco customer? Then please contact your Dumaco branch directly. This way, we can help you faster and more effectively.
What file type(s) should I provide?
For a correct and fast quote, we require clear drawings or files with all relevant information, such as dimensions, material type, and desired processing. We prefer to receive 2D and/or 3D CAD files in one of the following file formats:
- 2D files: .dxf or .dwg
- 3D files: .stp, .step, .ipt, or .sldprt, .x_t, or another common format.
- The working drawing can be in PDF format.
Important:
- Unfortunately, we cannot provide a quote based on unclear, incomplete, or difficult-to-read sketches.
- If your file/drawing is immediately suitable for production, we will process it at no extra cost.
- However, if we need to significantly modify or rebuild a drawing to correctly produce/process the product, we usually charge a fee for this. These costs are included in the quote.
- We only create extensive CAD drawings and/or re-engineering within the framework of a paid assignment, in which case we may also carry out the editing.

- Extensive advice or engineering is certainly possible, but we always coordinate this with you to ensure expectations and possibilities are clear.
Can I get free advice or engineering?
We're happy to help: we consider a request for advice the same as a quote request.

- We only provide comprehensive advice or engineering services within a paid contract.

Can I have a single point of contact for my entire order?
Yes, at Dumaco, you can count on a dedicated contact person who will coordinate your project from start to finish. From engineering to milling and any post-processing.

Does Dumaco also offer prototyping services?
Yes, we certainly offer prototyping services, but with an emphasis on the possibility of producing larger series after the pilot production run.
- Our expertise and focus are primarily on series production and the machining of complex, larger workpieces.
- Prototyping is therefore an essential part of our core business, where we contribute ideas regarding the feasibility, scalability, and efficiency of the production process.
- We only create detailed CAD drawings and/or re-engineering within the framework of a paid contract, in which we are also authorized to perform the necessary machining.
Does Dumaco have certified welders?
Yes, Dumaco has certified welders at specific locations. We weld according to EN standards, as well as ASME IX and AWS D1.6 standards.
