Dumaco Woerden has recently made a significant investment in a new 10 kW fiber laser with an impressive working area of 8×2.5 meters. This powerful Bystronic machine—the first of its kind in the Benelux—enables the company to cut stainless steel sheets up to 30 mm thick with exceptional speed and precision.
A Leap Forward in Capacity and Service
This new fiber laser is three times faster than the previous CO₂ laser and effortlessly cuts complex shapes, flanges, and large parts in a single pass. This advancement enhances Dumaco Woerden's flexibility and efficiency in serving customers who demand both size and quality.
Specializing in Stainless Steel and Certified Welding
Over the years, Dumaco Woerden has developed into the stainless steel specialist within the Dumaco Group. The company's strength lies in delivering complete assemblies, including certified welding according to PED guidelines. With experienced welders, an 8-meter tandem press brake, XXL rolling capabilities, and in-house pickling baths, Dumaco Woerden is fully equipped for high-level large-format stainless steel production.
Pioneering in Hydrogen Systems
In addition to the traditional oil and gas sector, Dumaco Woerden is increasingly producing components for hydrogen systems—a growing market where the company can leverage its experience with pressure vessels and piping. The transition to these new markets offers continuity and aligns with Dumaco Woerden's long-term vision for sustainable growth.
With this new laser, Dumaco Woerden possesses enhanced production capacity, shorter lead times, and even more room to expand its role as an XXL specialist both within and outside the group.
